Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Michigan University. In 2006, Melissa bought a manufacturing plant in Metro Detroit, and after operating the business for twelve years and growing sales eightfold, she sold it in 2018. In 2020, she entered the entertainment industry bringing her business experience and success into her production company and projects.
